Partnership Announcement - GYM Network
Yesterday we celebrated the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace.
As we are still facing difficult times due to COVID-19 it is clear that we all must act as a team to defeat the pandemic and support each other to recover even stronger than before.
There are growing demand for partnerships and cooperation in many levels around the globe. And The Kick Project is not an exception, we need to create new partnerships and new innovative ways of cooperation as well.
As we are now preparing to put more focus on supporting our partners through good governance and capacity building we are happy to announce our official partnership with
The Global Youth Mentorship Network (GYM).
GYM Network is a grassroots sport-for-impact community comprised of social organizations and NGO’s that focus on Education through sport for personal and community development among youth within underprivileged communities around the world.
Connect, unite, and empower organizations, leveraging each groups focus to create a variety of collaborative education opportunities for underserved youth.
Vision & strategy:
GYM aim to guide youth toward future occupations, leading them to a wide variety of potential career paths through all the network’s affiliate organizations. This can be achieved through a combination of teaching hard-skills, helping them bridge the gap of social inequality, and break the cycle of poverty. The goal is to achieve financial sustainability individually within their families and communities.
Each network affiliate will have a proven track record of local impact. GYM Network serves as a platform for adaptable collaborative initiatives that are directly responsive to community needs. Each organization will share ideas, methodologies, and curriculum to create innovative projects involving unique ways of combining sport and education. The Network is also an additional platform for network organization affiliates to spread awareness and share their cause and impact.
With this partnership we are looking forward to continue and further improve our work for the sake of underprivileged youths and communities worldwide.
